ABOUT VOLUNTEERING:
MINIMUM AGE: All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer on a construction site. Any volunteers under the age of 18 need to have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian. UPDATE: Any youth, that are 16 and 17 MUST have an adult volunteer with them until otherwise directed by a Habitat Supervisor that they are okay to come out to volunteer independently! BOTH the youth and adult volunteers should have volunteer accounts, completed waivers and signed up for shifts.
Clothing: Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing that they don't mind getting dirty. Dress appropriately for the weather and keep in mind that neither indoor nor outdoor work sites have heat or air conditioning. Volunteers should not wear cropped shirts or shorts that prevent the ability to bend over without being exposed.
Water is provided for all volunteers
