Volunteer Greeters serve as an ambassador to Richmond Habitat by greeting every customer that enters the Richmond ReStore. Volunteers will help to educate customers regarding current Safety and Sanitation protocols set by Richmond Habitat while counting the number of customers entering and exiting the store.
Essential Position Functions:
- Welcome, Education and Traffic Control
- Health and Safety Enforcement (Masks and Sanitizer)
- Shopping Cart Sanitation
- Provide assistance with Sales Floor as needed
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Belief in Habitat for Humanity’s global, mission, principles and structure
- Works well independently but can also work well in a group or as part of a team
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time
