Build shifts happen from 8am-3pm. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE FOR THE START OF YOUR SHIFT. IF YOU MISS THE SAFETY BRIEFING, THE SUPERVISOR HAS THE AUTHORITY TO SEND VOLUNTEERS HOME.

ABOUT VOLUNTEERING:
- MINIMUM AGE: All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer on a construction site. Any volunteers under the age of 18 need to have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian. UPDATE: Any youth, that are 16 and 17 MUST have an adult volunteer with them until otherwise directed by a Habitat Supervisor that they are okay to come out to volunteer independently! BOTH the youth and adult volunteers should have volunteer accounts, completed waivers and signed up for shifts.
- Clothing: Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing that they don't mind getting dirty. Dress appropriately for the weather and keep in mind that neither indoor nor outdoor work sites have heat or air conditioning. Volunteers should not wear cropped shirts or shorts that prevent the ability to bend over without being exposed.
- Please bring a lunch. Water is provided.

Please see the highlighted area for where you are permitted to park PARK ONLY IN THE SPACES HIGHLIGHTED IN GREEN. DON NOT PARK IN THE SPACES HIGHLIGHTED IN RED. You can route your GPS to 2305 Hull St instead to get you to the side of parking lot we are allowed to use. *DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES VISIBLE IN YOUR CAR WHEN PARKING AT ANY CONSTRUCTION SITE*
