Volunteers that know how to read cut sheets and are experienced in using various types of saws and woodshop equipment are needed to help with cutting the playhouse kits for this year's build. ALL Volunteers MUST BE OVER 18. We will be cutting 2x4s, 1x4s and plywood. Guidance will be provided, but past knowledge and experience in using these type of tools is very much needed.
We are in a NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR. Here is the address: 1901 Westwood Ave, Richmond VA 23227 (SOAR365 Warehouse)- we will be at the1901 doorside on the Lanvale Ave side. There is a Habitat Van out front.
Parking: There is parking on the street and at the warehouse. I will be there to direct folks if there is any confusion.
What to wear: Please dress in layers (it is a warehouse but unconditioned) and wear sneakers or work boots. I have tools and PPE on site, but feel free to bring your own PPE (gloves, eyewear).
