Thank you for volunteering on one of our Habitat construction sites! Every shift helps move a family closer to a safe, affordable place to call home. Whether you're joining us for the first time or you've volunteered on many builds, we're grateful to have you as part of the team. No matter your experience level, our site supervisors will match you with appropriate tasks and provide instruction throughout the day.
Build Schedule & Location
Build Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive for the start of your shift so you can participate in the required morning safety briefing. For everyone's safety, volunteers who miss the orientation may be asked to leave for the day.
Build Location: Highland Grove Triplex (Lots 39 & 40). This new construction project is located in the Highland Grove development in Richmond's Northside. Because this is a newly developed neighborhood, the exact street addresses may not yet appear in GPS or online maps. Use 509 Dove St., Richmond, VA 23222 to navigate to the correct area of the development. Parking is available along Dove Street.

Age Requirements
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to serve on a construction site.
Volunteers who are 16 or 17 years old must volunteer with an adult until a Habitat supervisor approves them to volunteer independently.
Both the youth volunteer and accompanying adult must have volunteer accounts, completed waivers, and be registered for the same volunteer shift.
All volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete a Minor Volunteer Waiver & Release before volunteering.
