Calling all Movers and Shakers!

The Richmond Habitat for Humanity ReStore is looking for a volunteer to assist ReStore staff at an offsite Restore donation pick-up.

Do you enjoy packing boxes and helping your friends move? You're perfect for this volunteer opportunity!

Volunteers will be carefully packing up boxes of home décor and furniture to transport back to the Richmond ReStore. Volunteers should be competent in packing and moving and should be able to lift 25lbs.

Volunteers will meet the ReStore Staff at the Regency Square Mall at 9 AM (more details to come regarding parking and meeting location) and can expect to be done at 1 pm

 Time: 9 am and goes until around 1 pm

We also bring boxes and packing materials (so if volunteers want to bring/donate some that are helpful too)

Minimum Age Requirements: Any volunteers under the age of 18 MUST have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian, and are NOT able to use power tools or ladders over 4 feet.

• 14 and 15 Years Old: Volunteers that are age 14 and 15 can volunteer, but MUST have an adult volunteer with them; this adult volunteer MUST also be signed up for a shift and volunteering with the youth. If the adult volunteer does not adhere to this policy, we will have to send the youth volunteer home.

Qualifications: 

Please sign the volunteer waiver and check-in before your first shift.

Smiles last for miles! Please be aware of your mood.

Volunteers should be competent in packing and moving and should be able to lift 25lbs. 

Volunteers should bring their own mask and gloves.

Volunteers between the ages of 14 - 15 need an adult present to volunteer (Parents have to be volunteering as well)
