Job Responsibilities: Receive incoming donations, providing donors with outstanding customer service while respecting social distancing guidelines, and enforced safety protocol as outlined by Richmond Habitat. Processing and sanitizing incoming customer donations with guidance from the ReStore Staff. Assist in various day-to-day operations in the donations processing center and on the sales floor. Responds promptly to customer inquiries; answering questions and providing customer service to the best of their ability. Provide excellent customer service to all shoppers Organize items and maintain the cleanliness of the store Assist in rearranging vignettes and other special displays Learn the pricing structure for various frequently donated items. Responds promptly to radio communications between staff and other volunteers.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Belief in Habitat for Humanity's global mission, principles, and structure. Works well independently but can also work well in a group or as part of a team. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to sit or stand for up to 3 hours in warehouse conditions.
